Delete Account

1. Steps to Delete Your Account

• Email us at info.wheelorent@gmail.com with the subject line “Account Deletion Request”.
• Include your registered mobile number or email and full name so we can verify ownership of the account.
• Optionally, you may also request deletion via in-app chat support.
• After verification, we will process your request and confirm once your account has been deleted.

2. Data That Will Be Deleted

Upon successful account deletion, we will delete or anonymize the following data associated with your account:

• Profile information (name, phone number, email, photo)
• KYC documents and verification records submitted by you
• Vehicle listings created by you (if you are an owner)
• Booking history linked to your account
• In-app chat messages associated with your account
• App preferences and device-related account settings

3. Data That May Be Retained

Certain information may be retained for a limited period where required by law, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or legitimate business needs:

• Transaction or booking records needed for legal, tax, or accounting compliance
• Records related to ongoing disputes, complaints, or safety investigations
• Information retained to prevent fraud, abuse, or unauthorized re-registration
• Anonymized or aggregated data that no longer identifies you

Any retained data will be kept only as long as necessary and then securely deleted or anonymized.

4. Deletion Timeline

We aim to process verified account deletion requests within 7–14 business days. You will receive a confirmation email once the deletion is complete.

Please note that account deletion is permanent. You will lose access to your bookings, listings, and profile, and will need to create a new account if you wish to use WheeloRent again.

5. Before You Delete

• Complete or cancel any active bookings.
• Resolve any open disputes or pending payments with other users.
• Download or save any information you may need later, as it cannot be recovered after deletion.
